Dispersible polymer powder are made by spray drying polymer dispersions. Upon contact with water, the dispersible polymer powder particles break down and re-release individual dispersed particles. It has the same properties as the original dispersion.

Dispersible polymer powder can be used together with cement, gypsum and other inorganic cementitious materials to enhance the bonding strength and adhesion between the mortar and the common support, to improve the cohesive strength and workbility of the mortar, and to greatly improve the tensile strengh and flexural strength of the material.
