2. Applications

Hydroxyl-Modified Vinyl Chloride/Vinyl Acetate Terpolymer resin is widely used in marine clear coats, general metallic clear coats, marine and ocean corrosion-resistant coatings, machinery housing paints, industrial maintenance coatings, plastic paints, can coatings, leather coatings, laminating adhesives, magnetic tape adhesives, gravure printing inks, high-grade PU wood coatings, and metallic paints.

3. Properties

Hydroxyl-Modified Vinyl Chloride/Vinyl Acetate Terpolymer resin is an excellent pigment carrier, widely used in inks and coatings due to its VC and VAC groups. It also exhibits excellent adhesion to PET, resin primers, paper, acrylic resins, PVC, ABS, PC, ink surfaces, pretreated PE, and OPP materials. Hydroxyl-Modified Vinyl Chloride/Vinyl Acetate Terpolymer resin is often used in combination with other film-forming materials to improve coating performance, enhancing its adhesion, flexibility, toughness, hardness, and chemical resistance. Because of the presence of hydroxyl functional groups in its structure, DAGH resin can undergo cross-linking reactions with thermosetting resins (such as isocyanates), forming films with excellent properties such as gloss, hardness, toughness, abrasion resistance, scratch resistance, water resistance, and chemical corrosion resistance.

4. Packaging and Storage

Packaging specifications: 25 kg/bag, kraft paper-plastic composite bag, lined with plastic film.

Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.

If Hydroxyl-Modified Vinyl Chloride/Vinyl Acetate Terpolymer is stored beyond its shelf life, it does not mean the resin is ineffective, but users must test its properties before large-scale use.
