To build a high-caliber sales force and promote precision marketing, in March 2021, the PVA (polyvinyl alcohol) team of the Central China Chemical Sales Branch, based on comprehensive self-analysis, vigorously carried out the work of refining and optimizing its systems and regulations.
First, it formulated four detailed rules for polyvinyl alcohol: "Implementation Rules for Sales Resource Allocation and Daily Management," "Implementation Rules for Account Manager Assessment," "Supplementary Rules for Marketing Strategies," and "Implementation Rules for Price Management." These rules further institutionalized, standardized, and regulated the daily marketing management of polyvinyl alcohol, improving the quality of marketing management.
Second, it comprehensively reviewed the job responsibilities of account managers, sales managers, and product managers under the "Petrochemical e-Trade" model, clarified work discipline, further streamlined work processes, and promoted a healthy and orderly self-circulation.
Third, it strengthened the assessment of account managers, setting a minimum sales volume of 15,000 tons per person per year as a "lifeline," while strengthening the assessment of key indicators such as the coordination between volume and price. Through hard indicators and refined assessments, it promoted marketing personnel to improve sales quality and efficiency.
Fourth, it implemented comprehensive and institutionalized internal supervision. The company's comprehensive oversight system is used to conduct online inspections of PVA marketing efforts; monthly economic activity spot checks and analyses are conducted on the sales performance of account managers and key clients, and any problems discovered are addressed promptly.
