Optical Enhancement: In paper or textile coatings, polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) is an excellent carrier for optical brighteners. It helps the brightener to distribute more evenly and fix on the surface, effectively absorbing ultraviolet light and reflecting bluish-white light, thus significantly improving the whiteness and brightness of the product.

Paper Coating: CCP polyvinyl alcohol BP-05 (CCP BP 05), a partially hydrolyzed product of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), possesses both hydrophilic and hydrophobic properties, making it an ideal component for paper coatings. It improves paper smoothness, printability, ink bleeding resistance, and surface strength. BP-05 is recommended for paper coating, indicating its unique application value in this field.


Architectural Coatings: In building materials such as cement mortar and gypsum board, PVA can be used as an additive to improve flexibility, adhesive strength, and crack resistance.


Specialty Coatings: PVA can also be used to manufacture high-performance coatings, such as packaging coatings with excellent barrier properties, or as a surface treatment agent for leather, making it smoother and easier to print on.
