To further strengthen its channel presence, consolidate its core market share, and enhance channel control, Sinopec Chemical Sales Central China Branch has intensified its downstream outreach efforts, vigorously expanded its direct sales market, and continuously optimized its channel construction this year. In April, net direct sales of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) increased by 75% year-on-year, 36 percentage points higher than the average monthly volume last year, setting a new monthly record.
The PVA team at Sinopec Chemical Sales Central China Branch meticulously conducted visits and surveys of end-users, categorized direct sales user information by industry, established a direct supply customer development plan management mechanism, and continuously increased its efforts to develop leading customers in various industries. From January to April this year, it established cooperative relationships with several leading customers in industries such as coatings, waterproofing, and PVB. The cumulative net direct sales rate of PVA increased by 8.5% month-on-month, 8 percentage points higher than last year.
The team also explored the potential demand of existing customers, intensified visits and maintenance efforts with direct supply customers, promptly grasped the raw material, finished product inventory, and downstream order information of direct supply customers, actively promoted new specialized products, provided timely sample trials to enterprises, provided precise services, increased downstream cooperation, and established long-term and stable cooperative relationships. From January to April this year, five new customers were developed, and sales of the new polyvinyl alcohol 88 series products increased by 10% year-on-year.
The team continued to deepen its strategic customer service, accurately connecting with companies daily regarding production scheduling, product specifications, and logistics, striving to meet customer delivery requirements and ensuring timely delivery of raw materials. Simultaneously, they strengthened production-sales coordination, accurately conveying the needs and suggestions of direct sales customers, ensuring stable production scheduling and reserved inventory for each grade, guaranteeing production supply for strategic customers, and building a solid market foundation by precisely meeting customer needs.
