Storage of Vinyl Acetate
LIWEI CHEMICAL CO. LTD
Vinyl acetate is highly susceptible to polymerization by heat, light or trace amounts of peroxides, and commercial products containing inhibitors can also be violently polymerized in contact with peroxides.Vinyl acetate is mainly used in the production of polyvinyl alcohol resins and synthetic fibers.
On October 27, 2017, the World Health Organization's International Agency for Research on Cancer published a preliminary list of carcinogens, vinyl acetate in the list of Class 2B carcinogens. The storage location of vinyl acetate should be cool and ventilated, and should not be exposed directly to sunlight, and away from fire and heat. Vinyl acetate should not be mixed with other "flammable" materials and should be stored in isolation from oxidants and acids.
We are pva and pva raw material vinyl acetate factory, providing storage, transportation, blending, packaging and distribution of vinyl acetate monomer (VAM).
