Performance of PVA fiber
LIWEI CHEMICAL CO. LTD
Polyvinyl alcohol fiber has a moisture absorption rate of 4.5% to 5.0% under standard conditions, ranking among the top synthetic fiber varieties. Due to poor thermal conductivity, PVA fiber has good thermal insulation. In addition, polyvinyl alcohol fiber also has good corrosion resistance and sunlight resistance.
The main disadvantages of PVA fibers are poor dyeability, low dyeing amount, and unremarkable color. This is because the fiber has a sheath-core structure and is partially blocked by acetalization. In addition, PVA fibers have poor hot water resistance, and obvious shrinkage and deformation will occur when the temperature exceeds 110-115 ° C in the wet state. After being placed in boiling water for 3 to 4 hours, the PVA fabric will partially dissolve. Furthermore, the flexibility of polyvinyl alcohol fibers is not as good as other synthetic fibers such as polyester, and the fabric is not stiff enough, and wrinkles are likely to occur during use.
We are a chemical enterprise-LIWEI CHEMICAL CO. LTD specializing in the production of PVA series products, and our products are exported to overseas markets all year round.
